Welcome

So the time has come... After 8 years working as a developer, it's time to start sharing some of what I've learnt along the way.

Over my time in the industry I've worked on many projects, spanning across multiple industries, languages and frameworks, and I'd be lying to you if I said that everything I've taken on has come easy.

I've spent countless hours searching the depths of Stack Overflow, watching random YouTube videos and questioning Google. I've also made a large amount of mistakes along the way because, well, I'm only human.

All of this means that I've learnt a lot of lessons, short cuts and general developer knowledge which has given me an enjoyable and somewhat successful career.

Now seems like the right time to start putting some of what I've learnt along the way down on virtual paper.

I hope to post on a semi-regular basis so stay tuned and I hope to speak to/at you soon :)

Oh also, if you're thinking 'who the hell is this guy and what does he do' then you can check out my CV in the footer.
